How to Use the Gmail Snooze Feature

How to Use the Gmail Snooze Feature

In the snooze feature , there are three different time zones as morning, noon and evening . Hours change as 08:00, 13:00 and 18:00 . So, if you are busy at work on Monday morning, you can postpone the e-mail to the next morning and have the e-mail you marked arrive in your inbox at 08:00 the next day . You can use this system for any e-mail you want. However, it is quite unnecessary to be overly active and to mark almost every e-mail in this way.

The interesting part is that the extensive settings of Gmail's Snooze feature are adjusted by Google Keep Reminder . For this, it is necessary to log in to Google Keep and access the Settings / Reminder Defaults section.

There are morning, noon and evening options here. You can customize the clocks as you wish. Then, when you save, the Snooze feature in Gmail is determined according to these hours.

Of course , you can also set it manually with the option at the bottom when delaying any email in Gmail . But this is a more challenging method and requires changing the time again and again each time.

It also writes the date in orange at the bottom of the delayed emails. The only downside to this method is that the default time to snooze emails has to be the same as for Google Keep task reminders. But if Gmail is a critical part of your workflow, we don't think you'll get too hung up on it.
